This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard personal information—and the choices available to you.

2) Information we collect
The information we collect depends on the study and how you interact with us. Common categories include:

5) Email addresses & other communications (CAN‑SPAM context)
When we email known contacts or invite respondents to participate in research, we clearly identify ourselves, provide contact information, and reuse addresses only as legitimate follow‑up for research.  Should you wish to opt out for future invitations, you can do so at any time.

6) Disclosure of personal information
We do not sell personal information. We share it externally only as necessary to conduct the research you agreed to—for example, with the sponsoring client’s project team, facility/technology vendors (video platforms, transcription providers), and incentive/payment processors—under confidentiality and data‑security obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law/court order, to protect rights/safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction.

7) Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration (e.g., access controls and encryption where appropriate). No method of transmission or storage is fully secure.

8) Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for research operations and to meet legal/contract requirements. As a general guide, certain records may be retained up to 10 years after your last interaction, unless a different period applies.
